Azizul Hakim started his career in TV media acting since 1981, but he was involved with theatre from long before that. He has played diversified roles in over 500 TV plays and serials. His most notable works include Shundar, Kon Kanoner Phul, Tabuo To Shey, Shamay Ashamay, Haradhan, Jibon Chhobi, Sparsho, Kothay Shey Jon, Titir O Shankhochil, Sheola and Jol Porey Pata Norey. He also performed in the much-acclaimed film ‘Padma Nodeer Majhi’. Before starting his career as an actor, Azizul Hakim was a first division footballer of Dhaka Victoria Club and played from 1975 to 1977. Azizul Hakim has received a number of awards and accolades for his performance as an actor.
